Below is a list of our field staff’s favorites.

Since DOTS launched in 1945, it has firmly established itself as Americas hunting enthusiasts #1 selling gumdrop.
This delightful, chewable, cone-shaped treat will not only bring you good luck on your next hunting or fishing adventure,  but will never leave you hungry. Never spot’n stalk with out your DOTS!

My favorite clothing purchase hands down has been my SHE Outdoors Waterfowl Bibs. They are lightweight, weatherproof, and fit comfortably. I was worried ordering bibs off line because I am tall and I often have trouble finding a good fit for my length. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them on after receiving them in the mail. I am 5 foot 9 inches and the medium is just what I needed. They are long enough on my legs and torso and the straps are adjustable which make for the perfect fit. I can also fit layers underneath these bibs on the extreme cold days. These bibs have kept me warm and dry in all types of conditions. From sitting out for hours in the rain duck hunting to below freezing temperatures calling in geese, they haven’t let me down. Not only do they get me through rough hunting weather, but I even use them for so many other things. I have worn them snowboarding, sledding, and ice fishing as well. I use them for anything and everything!

Not only are they a family based company and are easy to get in contact with; they are high performing arrows. There are so many different arrows to chose from and how did I end up narrowing down to one brand; word of mouth. I’ve shot so many different arrows and I could never find myself sticking to one particular one. Ever since 2015 I’ve only shot the Black Eagle Arrow Outlaws. I’ve successfully harvested predators, whitetails, and turkey with them. The OUTLAW pink fletched arrows are available in 400-700 grain spine. Their grain weight tolerance +-2 and straightness .005″. They come fletched in Bohning Blazer vans in white and neon pink. It makes it easy to locate the florescent arrow in the woods with the bright color and help keep an eye on it while it’s in flight heading  towards your target. They’re high performing affordable arrows that you can trust.
The last thing you want after all the hard work you put into hunting is for any game to pick up your scent. I’ve heard all the stories of how hunters go about getting rid of odors, but I find using Scent Crusher the easiest way to do so. All of my hunting clothes are stored in the ozone hunter’s closet 365 days a year, the o-zone go stays in my car, and after I get done hunting all of my clothes go right into the ozone gear bag. No more sprays that dampen my clothes and make me cold or leaves white marks on my equipment. No more spending extra money on scent-free detergent. Ozone technology has come a long way and this company has really thought of it all to keep you scent free. Scent off game on is their moto for a reason. Try scent crusher products today, check out all the different products they have to offer; it’s a game changer.
These boots were made for….EVERYTHING! I can not say enough about how much I love my Danner ladies 8″ Pronghorn hunting boots. I’ve had mine for over 10 years now, sure they may be beat up a little, but they still perform and get the job done just like the first time I wore them. 1,000 gram thinsulate keeps me warm, even in the harshest conditions. Thick and sturdy soles have held up while climbing mountains out west in pursuit of elk, or simply climbing up my ladder stand for Wisconsin deer hunting. I have waterproofed my boots throughout the years and they have held up to the swampy spring weather when chasing spring gobblers. I have been pretty tough on these boots and have considered buying another pair to replace these, but there is really no need. These boots are the best and plan to keep them as long as I can. These are a must have for any lady hunter. I promise, you won’t be disappointed! Can’t wait to experience the next adventure these boots take me on!
I have owned a lot of waders and these will be the last pair I buy! Say goodbye to baggy and unflattering waders, these are cut for women. The two-tone grey with subtle teal accents looks sharp but not overly girly. Fleece lined chest pocket will keep your wet hands warm after landing that monster trout. They have a large front pocket with a waterproof pocket you can buy sold separately that attaches to the inside to hold your phone and keys. Fold over neoprene attached socks cover your boots and keep your laces tight and won’t catch on wiley willows. Built in belt loops, belt, and loop on the back to attach clip on net means you’re all ready to fish safely.

I recently was in the market for a basic range finder i could use for deer hunting in Wisconsin. I wasn’t looking for anything fancy, and certainly didn’t want to break the bank. I came across a sale at Cabelas and decided the Bushnell Custom 600 fit the criteria I was wanting, basic and nothing fancy, and that’s just what I got. This range finder has worked great for archery hunting with accurate and easy readings from 5-60 yards. I also rifle hunt in Wisconsin and this range finder just doesn’t cut it in the hardwoods I hunt. I found this range finder to be very sensitive and usually picks up branches that are in line of the lasers view. Overall, I think this is an ok range finder to start out with, especially for archery hunting. Definitely don’t recommend for accuracy over 100 yards.

If you are just beginning or you are experienced at using a duck call, this call is a must to have on your lanyard. Just because this duck call is on the low end of the price range does not mean it is on the low end of quality. Echo is well known for their quaility duck calls. It is made of a durable polycarbonte. A timber call is a versatile call. You can reach some of the high ducks or you can get really soft when trying to finish the ducks to the water. It is a double read call, which makes it easy to blow and acheive realistic duck sounds with this call. You won’t regret adding the Sisterhood Echo Duck call to your hunting arsenal.
