March 27th 6:00pm to 9:00 pm
Join us for a night of learning the basics of pistol shooting. The class objective is to teach the basics of pistol function. The difference between revolvers and semi-automatic pistols will be reviewed. Students will learn what it means to be a responsible gun owner. Each student will bring their own pistol or use instructor pistols to develop the skills necessary to begin to shoot and learn to take care of their own firearm. The class will cover everything from actions to ammunition. Students will learn proper grip, using sights, proper stance and how to unload and reload their own firearm. This is the perfect class for the beginner or those interested in just learning more to become educated about firearms. We believe everyone should take a class if there is a gun in your home whether you plan to use it or not.
What to bring: personal firearm, unloaded and magazine removed with action open. Inspection will take place outside the classroom. No live ammunition is allowed in the classroom.
Range time will be scheduled with each individual for a later date. Range time is a private lesson for teams of two shooters at a time. Range fees are not included in the price. Range fees will be paid at the range at the time of the range time lesson. Each student will need a minimum of 25 round of proper ammunition, safety glasses and hearing protection.
